Manhattan is proudly welcoming a fun new center for families to enjoy and learn about the area; the Flint Hills Discovery Center will be opening up in the spring of 2012. It's a place for families to explore the science and history of the Flint Hills. A perfect place to spend a Saturday afternoon!
Carmike Cinemas Seth Childs 12 is open seven days a week, offers multiple matinee showings, and is always up to date with their featured films. This movie theater also offers student and military discounts with ID. A new, convenient addition to the Manhattan area is the Manhattan Regional Airport. For a quick, easy trip out of town, this airport is growing in destinations as well as popularity. As of January 1, 2012, American Airlines has daily, direct flights to and from Chicago and Dallas/Fort Worth. This airport also offers free parking close to your gates!
